- Question:
Just a quick note about what happens when
I view or print any of the reports. The
lines of text are some what layered, or
overlapping each other ever so slightly,
making it difficult to read. Has anyone
mentioned this to you as a problem?
|
- Response:
Yes, the problem you are experiencing is
due to a setting in your Windows
environment, which is easily correctable.
To
modify the setting, click the [Start]
button in Win95, and select [Settings]
then [Control Panel]. On the
Control Panel select [Display]. In
the Display Properties window, click on
the [Settings] tab, and from here click
the [Advanced] button.
On the
[General] tab on this window, you will
notice a Font Size setting, where the
options are Small Font/Large
Font/Other... A Large
Font setting is what is causing the
problem, so change this to the Small Font
option.

- Question:
I downloaded Motivator 4.0 from the
internet about a month ago then recently
bought the CD-ROM. However, after I
installed the new program, I still am
stuck by the old program, which says that
my 30 day free trial has expired. I can't
get in the new program. Could you tell me
how to get around this (other than
deleting my old routine - I have a lot of
info in it).
|
- Response:
When installing the CD-ROM version, after
the 30-day trial version has been
installed, it is best to first Uninstall
the 30-day trial version before
installing from the CD. Any data which
you may have created will stay intact.
When re-installing from the CD-ROM, be
sure to install into the same directory
in which the 30-day trial version was
installed in (which it will by default).

- Question:
Can I make printouts of the Goal Tree.
|
- Response:
Unfortunately, in version 4.0 printing of
the goal tree is not possible. This
feature has been implemented in Version
4.5, which is now available for download.

- Question:
The problem that I have
encountered with Quota Goals: When trying
to add or view contributions, the program
crashes with an error-message:
"Run-time error '13': Type
mismatch".
|
- Response:
The error you describe has been reported
on a very small number of computers and
we have pinpointed the cause to being the
decimal symbol in your Regional Settings
in your Windows environment.
The decimal symbol must be a
"." (period) and not a
"," (comma) which is the
standard in some countries.
To modify this symbol, select
Start/Settings/Control Panel/Regional
Settings and change the Decimal symbol to
a period "." (period) located
on the Currency and Number tab.
This error is being corrected.
